TOLEDO-Rosalie Petermeier, 76, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at her home in Toledo. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Garwin Cemetery in Garwin, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 4-6 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Rosalie was born on March 13, 1936, in rural Vining. Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Ella (Zeman) Dolash.
On November 8, 1955, she was united in marriage to Arthur Petermeier. She helped her husband farm. She also worked at the Bar and Supper Club in Garwin and later Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook and the Meskwaki Bingo and Casino retiring in 2007. Rosalie was a hard worker and enjoyed her family in her spare time. She also enjoyed playing Pepper and Bingo.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arthur; two brothers, Art and George Dolash; and her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, "Frisky".
Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Dave) Spillman of Garwin, and Cheryl (Jeff) Cowan of Fall Creek, WI; one granddaughter, April Spillman of Marshalltown; her siblings, Karen Nekola of Tama, Donald (Sarah) Dolash of Tama, Fred Dolash of Tama, and June Nekola of Elberon; and several nieces and nephews.
