Obituary

Rowwena Mia Durninwas born on April 14, 1986, to Perry and Valerie (McMasters) Durnin in Fallon, Nevada.

She graduated from South Tama High School.

She grew up in Nevada and moved to Iowa in 1999. She was formerly a dealer at Meskwaki Casino. Rowwena enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, fishing, playing "Just Dance" and taking care of her family. In 2008, she married Jack Alamo in Tama.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Alamo of Keystone; sons, Deyson Poweshiek and Sterling Alamo, both of Keystone; daughters, Amelie Alamo of Keystone and Taylor McMasters of Schurz, Nevada; her mother, Valerie McMasters of Schurz, Nevada; siblings, Podowwa (Shawn) Roberts, Renetta Durnin and Cena Durnin all of Tama; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents; father, Perry Durnin; sisters, Delphine and Starla Durnin; aunt, Lasiene Hennessy and uncle, Raymond Brown, Jr.
