Ruth A. Becker's Obituary
TOLEDO-Ruth A. Becker, age 72, of Toledo, died Monday, July 13, 2009 at her home in Toledo. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 9 –10 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Ruth was born on February 21, 1937, in Chelsea, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon and Carrie (Ledvina) Becker.
She was a waitress at Trojan Inn from 1962-1996. In her retirement, she provided in-home daycare.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marlene Rhoads; four brothers-in-law, Ray Hansen, Jack Bogue, Dene Rhoads, and Richard Gardner.
Survivors include three sisters, Jane Bogue of Cedar Rapids, Joan Hansen of Creston, and Mary Ann Gardner of Toledo; one brother, Dutch (Kellie) Becker of Raymore, MO; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
