Sandra Mae (Bidwell) Frahm, 77, of Tama, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Private Burial will be held at a future date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.

Sandra was born on June 13, 1940, in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Olin and Evelyn (Wacha) Bidwell.

She went to school in Tama, Iowa.

She worked at King Tower Restaurant in Tama where she met her husband John Henry Frahm. They were married on March 5, 1959 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama. Together they farmed in rural Poweshiek County and raised their five children. Sandy was an Avon representative for several years, was self-employed doing home/office cleaning and later worked at the Meskwaki Casino.

Sandy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Tama, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Tama Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed farming, gardening, flowers and fishing, but mostly she loved spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Warran (Traci) Frahm of Victor, Cynthia (Rick) Kinzenbaw of Marengo, John Michael (Dixie) Frahm of Brooklyn, Dwayne Frahm of Tama, Colleen Frahm (Dennis Beinke) of Atalissa; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Dianne) Bidwell of Tama; one sister, Mary Duggan of Tama; one sister-in-law, Joan Hobbs of Toledo; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John on October 25, 2005; her twin sister, Sharon Graff on May 22, 2015; an infant brother, Larry Bidwell; one great-grandson, Briggs Jack; brothers-in-law, John H. Graff, William Duggan, and Gerald Hobbs.

A memorial fund has been established.
