TOLEDO-Shelley Ann Cruikshank, 54, of Toledo, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010, at Westbrook Acres Care Center in Gladbrook under the care of Iowa Hospice. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Shelley was born on March 22, 1956, in Toledo, Iowa, the daughter of Karl Joseph and Helen Marie (Thomas) Haughey.
She graduated from South Tama High School.
On August 31, 1979, she was united in marriage to Dale Cruikshank in Toledo, Iowa. She was an office manager for FMHA in Toledo. Shelley followed wrestling, enjoyed crosswords and the cabin and boating on the river. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Dale of Toledo; three children, Christine (Josh) Anderson of Cedar Rapids, Greg (Melissa) Cruikshank of Tama and Karl (Alayna Smith) Cruikshank of Toledo; her mother, Helen Haughey of Tama; seven grandchildren, Briauna Cruikshank, Brayden and Bryson Anderson, Grace Smith, Ethan, Eli and Keygan Cruikshank; her siblings, Mike (Sue) Haughey of Tama, Karla (Jerry) Anderson of Molalla, Oregon, Vicki Smith of Vinton, Eddie (Jolene) Haughey of Tama and Marsha (Danny) Quigley of Collins; and many nieces and nephews.
