Teresa Michele Williams-Brewer, 51, of Tama, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home in Tama. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1-4 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Oliver officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo at a future date.

Teresa was born on July 17, 1965, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Phillip Dean and Margaret (Filloon) Williams.
She graduated from Marshalltown Community College in their accounting program. Teresa worked as a cook at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. She loved hunting for rocks, shells, and spending time in nature. Her favorite colors were purple and red. More than anything, she loved her family.
Survivors include her parents, Phillip and Margaret Williams of Toledo; her children, Sam (Brandi) Brewer of Toledo, Terry Short Jr. of LeGrand, and Blair Addy Marie Short (Abelardo) of LeGrand; three grandchildren, Cassie Nicole and Hayden Michael Brewer, and Adelina Dawn Rosales; her siblings, Missy (Paul) Broekemeier of Garwin, Toby Williams of Toledo, and Christine Howe of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; Sam's father, Joe Brewer; and Addy and Terry Jr.'s father, Terry Short.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents; and one uncle, Larry Filloon.
