Terry Eugene Brown, 65, of Tama, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at UnityPoint-Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Public Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10 AM-12 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama.

Terry was born on December 28, 1958, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Rosemary (Culshaw) Brown but he was raised by and considered Joe Jordan his father.

Terry was a roofer until his physical limitations and then became the family babysitter. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Tama and delivered Meals on Wheels. Terry loved to play Pepper. He enjoyed fishing, pro wrestling and the Green Bay Packers. His greatest joy was his family and he adored his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He never knew a stranger and was a friend of anyone he met.

Survivors include one brother, Randy (Cheryl) Brown of Garwin; three sisters, Julie Taylor of Toledo, Joelyne (Don) Stackhouse of Green Mountain, and Rebecca (Jeff) Stephenson of Tama; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He lived with and was extremely close to Becky and Nichole.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Rosemary Brown Jordan Benda and father, Joe Jordan; and brother-in-law, Dave Taylor.
