TAMA-Thomas "Tom" Tague, age 66, of Tama, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama under the care of Iowa Hospice. There will be no visitation or services.
Thomas was born on November 4, 1942, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the son of Joe and Leona (Mousel) Tague.
He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1960 and was a graduate of Orange Coast College in California. Tom served his country in the U.S. Navy. He formerly worked at Lockeed Martin in California. He resided in Costa Mesa, CA and moved to Tama with his brother Paul in 1998. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Donald Tague; three sisters, Joan McAlpine, Mary Ann Parlette and Margaret Ferguson.
Survivors include one brother, Paul Tague of Tama; two sisters, Nancy Boies of Keystone and Kathleen Clark of Iowa City; one brother-in-law, Jim Ferguson of Chelsea; and many nieces and nephews.
