Tracy Lee Buckley-Lopez, 54, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 4:30 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Dewey Grimes officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 3:00 PM until the time of service at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Private interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo at a future date.

Tracy was born on August 2, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of James and Nancy (Bogue) Buckley.

She graduated from Brooklyn High School.

Tracy was married to Jeff Wheeler in 1985. Three sons were born to this union, Christopher, Josh, and Nick. They later divorced. She married Hilario Martinez in 1991. Three children were born to this union, Hilario Jr., Diego, and Crystle. They later divorced.

Most recently, Tracy was an assistant manager at Super 8 Motel in Toledo. She enjoyed fishing and watching scary movies. Tracy also liked playing cards and board games. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and always looked forward to family get togethers.

Survivors include her parents, James (Robin) Buckley of Tama and Nancy Buckley of Marshalltown; children, Josh (Danielle) Wheeler of Tama, Nick (Jesse) Wheeler of Tama, Hilario Martinez Jr. of Tama, Diego Martinez of St. George, UT, and Crystle Rivera-Martinez of Toledo; six grandchildren, Zach, Makena, J.J., Matthew, Tia, and Korra; sister, Sherri (Chuck) Leonard of Mountain Home, AR; nephew, Christian Leonard of Mountain Home, AR; and a close friend Ronnie Boles of Marshalltown.

Preceding her in death was her son, Christopher Wheeler; grandmother, Mabel Jordan; and an uncle and aunt, Darrell and Katherine Bogue.
