Vincent Duncan, 75, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Coralville. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Wake was held Wednesday evening at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement.

Vincent was born on August 31, 1945, on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama, Iowa, the son of Dennis "Leroy" and Ada May (Bullard) Duncan.

Vincent enjoyed spending time with family, watching sports, reading, and was an amazing artist. He loved listening to Iron Wood singers and CCR. Vincent was passionate about body building.

Survivors include his children, Douglas Duncan, Amber (Brenton) Pushetonequa, Taimah Duncan, Creedance Duncan, and Camarin Duncan; grandchildren, Matthew, Blake, Ashlynne, Eiress, Skuxe, Etzio, Sa'Bella, Luna, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Melody; brother, Preston Duncan; sister, Sharon (Kenny) Mervin; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandson, Shane Duncan; siblings, Phyllis (Davenport) Potter, Kirby Duncan Sr., Vera Rose Duncan, Lahoma Duncan, Douglas J. Duncan, Duane K. Duncan, Dallas M. Duncan, Delores M. Duncan, Eldon Joy, Rhoda Mae Spoon, and twins at birth.
