TOLEDO-Wilma Dolash, age 99, a resident of Carrington Place in Toledo died July 16, 2010 at the care center. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 AMat Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Rev. Gene Dolash officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Wilma was born on March 12, 1911, in rural Traer, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Halupnik) Drahos.
She attended country school in rural Traer.
On February 26, 1934, she was united in marriage to Frank E. Dolash in Marshalltown, Iowa. They farmed west of Tama and moved to Toledo in 1935. Wilma attended the Reformed Baptist Church in Tama. She enjoyed fishing, baking, gardening and playing cards.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Frank; a son, Roger in 1967; one granddaughter, Joleen; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Donald (Debbie) Dolash of Cedar Rapids, Eugene (Judy) Dolash of Deltona, FL and Loren (Theresa) Dolash of Luck, WI; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
