Todd Kruse
Co-Owner - Funeral Director
Todd Kruse is a native of Traer, Iowa and a graduate of North Tama High School, University of Northern Iowa, and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. After spending 14 years working in funeral homes in the Chicago area, he brought his family back to Tama County in 2000 to serve the folks where he came from. Todd is a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama, Toledo-Tama Kiwanis Club, Hiram of Tyre Masonic Lodge #118, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Tama-Toledo Chamber of Commerce, South Tama Activity Boosters, the National and Iowa Funeral Directors Associations, and has served on church boards as well as the Board of Directors of Iowa River Hospice. Todd and his wife Lori work together at the funeral home and have a daughter Ashley, son-in-law, Nick, granddaughter, Laurel Ann and grandson Kruse Michael. Todd enjoys fishing, boating, and playing guitar.

Office Manager/Business Administrator
Lori is the Office Manager/Business Administrator and helpful presence at the funeral home. She is a graduate of Dysart-Geneseo High School and had a long career as an Office Manager and Assistant in the dental field prior to joining her husband in the funeral home when they moved back to Iowa. She is a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama, where she has been involved in women's circle, taught Sunday School and Bible School. She is also a member of P.E.O. Chapter EW and the Tama-Toledo Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys making greeting cards, gardening and working in the yard, boating, and visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Nick, granddaughter Laurel Ann and grandson Kruse Michael.
